Data We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to operate and improve the website:
- Analytics data — pages visited, time on site, referral source, browser type, device type, and general geographic region (country/city). This data is aggregated and not linked to individuals.
- Email address — if you subscribe to our newsletter or contact us directly.
- Contact form submissions — name, email address, and message content when you reach out via our contact form.
- Cookies & local storage — for site functionality, analytics, and (in future) advertising. See Section 5.
- IP address — automatically collected by web servers and analytics tools. Anonymised where possible.
We do not collect payment details, government IDs, sensitive personal data, or information from users we know to be under 16 years of age.

- Contractual necessity (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — where processing is required to fulfil a request you have made.
Advertising
VectaFinance plans to display advertisements via Google AdSense. When active, Google may use cookies and device identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site and other websites across the internet.
Until AdSense is activated, no advertising cookies are set.
Email & Newsletter
If you subscribe to the VectaFinance newsletter, we collect your email address solely to send you editorial updates, new articles, and relevant content.
- We use a third-party email service provider to send newsletters. Your email is shared with this provider for delivery purposes only.
- We do not sell or share your email address with advertisers or unrelated third parties.
- You can unsubscribe at any time via the link included in every email, or by emailing us directly.
- Unsubscribing removes you from the mailing list. We will retain a suppression record to prevent accidental re-subscription.
Third-Party Services
We may use the following third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy:

- Email service provider — newsletter delivery (provider to be disclosed when activated).
- Web hosting provider — server infrastructure; may log IP addresses and request metadata.
We do not sell personal data to any third party for their own marketing purposes.
Data Retention
- Analytics data — retained for up to 26 months, then automatically deleted or anonymised.
- Newsletter email addresses — retained until you unsubscribe, after which a suppression record is kept indefinitely.
- Contact form messages — retained for up to 12 months, then deleted unless an ongoing relationship requires otherwise.
- Server logs — retained for up to 90 days for security and diagnostic purposes.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
International Data Transfers
VectaFinance is operated globally. Data processed by third-party services such as Google Analytics may be transferred to and stored in the United States or other countries outside your jurisdiction.
Where transfers occur from the EEA or UK to countries without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as adopted by the European Commission. Google's transfers are governed by their Data Processing Terms and applicable SCCs.
Children's Privacy
VectaFinance is intended for adults and professional audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 16 (or the applicable age of digital consent in their country).
If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us immediately at contact@vectafinance.com and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal obligations. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
For material changes, we will notify newsletter subscribers by email. Continued use of VectaFinance after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
